Think about how you will use the pistol most. For range days and general shooting, the longer barrel is more pleasant and a little quieter. For the smallest possible footprint, the 7-inch model wins. If you plan to add a brace, a PRO model or a factory-braced package will save you money compared with buying adapters later.

Next, check your local laws. Some states restrict pistols with threaded barrels, certain braces or magazines over 10 rounds. Your local dealer can confirm what is allowed before you order. Finally, budget for a few accessories: extra magazines, a sling and a red dot are the most popular first upgrades.
